Join the Academy of Rehabilitative Audiology (ARA) and become part of a professional community dedicated to advancing best practices in aural rehabilitation. ARA membership provides exclusive access to resources, events, and a network of professionals passionate about improving communication and quality of life for individuals with hearing loss.
To qualify as a professional member of ARA, individuals must:
Hold a graduate degree in audiology, speech-language pathology, education of individuals with hearing loss, or a related discipline OR have post-degree experience in habilitation, rehabilitation, or education of individuals with hearing loss
Student membership is available for individuals who:
Are enrolled at least part-time in a program leading to a degree in audiology, speech-language pathology, or education of individuals with hearing loss
Student members enjoy many of the same benefits as Professional Members but are not eligible to vote in general ARA elections, serve as committee chairs, or hold elected offices. One student representative on the ARA board is available on an annual basis (applications open October 1 and close November 1).
